What is this magic pill phenomenon in America?
It's sprayed all over commercials from viagra, celebrex to weight loss PGX fiber pills.
Really?
Have you seen the advertisements?
Sometimes, I'm not sure what they're selling or if it's some kind of Saturday Night Live sketch where
they're mocking pharmaceutical companies.
Do you think doctors have any link to getting pharmaceutical kickbacks?
Whatever happened to take an aspirin and call me in the morning
OR
an apple a day phenomenon?
Anyway, I was going to write my research thesis on prescription drug use but I decided against it
because it was just too depressing, caused anxiety and there was an anti-anxiety commercial
on t.v. while I was contemplating -- which made me start to think, "Do I need a magic pill?".
--- By the way most of these pharmaceutical commericals are geared towards housewives during the daytime and senior citizens. Hmmmm - realllly???
The power of persuasion which may NOT be so great anymore since the pharmaceutical companies have to list the onslaught of side effects.
Then it makes you wonder WHY would you even dare take the magic pill????
